WASLA is pleased to announce that it will be offering bursaries for members to attend the ASLA XXI Biennial Conference to be held at the Perth Convention Centre from Tuesday 29th September to Friday 2nd October, 2009.
Two bursaries will be available to members who live within 120km radius of the GPO, deemed to be a metropolitan member and four bursaries will be for members living beyond this radius, deemed to be a country member.

The award for the Teacher Librarian of the Year and our inaugural Library Technician/Library Officer Award were made at the 2008 International School Library Month Dinner. This was held at Vultures Restaurant on 20th October 2008. It is an annual event which recognizes outstanding library practitioners and also celebrates school libraries and the people who work in them.
