Join us as we present the 2026 School Library Awards at Dordaak Kepup Library & Youth Innovation Hub (Landsdale Public Library).
Our keynote presentation will be given by Paris McNeil who will present on the topic of the ‘Social Media Ban’.
Parisl is an online safety educator who has worked with thousands of students and parents across Australia to build the skills to handle the social media ban and stay safe online. Paris has a legal background, but most importantly, is a Gen Z and grew up with technology so she understands what students are facing. Paris bridges the gap, resonating with students and providing support to parents to help their kids to navigate the online world. Six months on from the social media ban, McNeil will be discussing what impacts the ban has had and trends emerging among students and their behaviours online.
We will also take a short tour of the new library facilities.
