  • * A recognised state body, which will represent you in the maintenance and improvement of standards in the school library information services
  • * Advocacy in all facets of teacher librarianship and school library services,
  • * Research related to the role of school library and information services.

As a largely volunteer run professional association WASLA seeks your assistance to minimise administrative time and costs.

All memberships and iC3 subscriptions operate on a January to December basis.

Full Institutional Membership of WASLA provides you with:

  • * Attendance for two persons from the member institution, to all WASLA general activities at the Member rate,
  • * Attendance for any persons from the member institution, to all conferences organised by WASLA at the Member rate,
  • * Newsletters and notice of activities from the local association,
  • * One subscription to iC3, the WASLA journal, and
  • * Access to the Members Only Resources section of the WASLA website.

All Other Memberships of WASLA provides you with (excluding DoE limited membership):

  • * Attendance for one person to all WASLA activities at the Member rate,
  • * Newsletters and notice of activities from the local association,
  • * One subscription to iC3, the WASLA journal, and
  • * Access to the Members Only Resources section of the WASLA website.
  • * Individual memberships are not transferable.

Department of Education Limited membership of WASLA provides you with:

  • * Attendance for one person to all WASLA activities at the Member rate,
  • * Newsletters and notice of activities from the local association,
  • * Access to the Members Only Resources section of the WASLA website.
  • * Individual memberships are not transferable.

Library Technician (1 personal membership)                                                                                                       $80.00

Library Officer (1 personal membership)                                                                                                             $65.00

Department of Education Limited (Note – paid for by DoE)                                                                                $50.00

Fulltime Student / Unwaged / Retired / Parental leave (1 personal membership)                                                $50.00

Print copies of iC3 journal – 2 editions – option for DoE schools                                                                         $60.00
