Letters, Lobbying and Announcements

March 2015

Fellow school library associations, we would like to invite you to become partners in the FAIR campaign https://fair.alia.org.au.

We launched in February and we already have nearly 800 subscribers. Yesterday we put out our first call to action concerning cuts to the State Library of WA, which resulted in another ABCTV news piece last night and more than 150 emails to the WA Arts Minister in less than 24 hours.

We have kept the branding on the FAIR website deliberately neutral so that it can be shared with other organisations and we’re now able to include partners’ names, logos and a statement of their advocacy concerns.

If you would like to be part of FAIR, please just send us through this information and we will put you up on the website. The only commitment is to help us promote FAIR campaigns, where they align with your thinking.

Best wishes,

Sue McKerracher | CEO | ALIA
